Funded by USAID and implemented by Pathfinder International and ICRHK, the Afya Pwani Key Population project provides comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention and testing services for female sex workers, men who have sex with men, and transgender persons. It operates through six drop-in centers across Mombasa (Mvita, Likoni, Kisauni) and Kilifi (Kilifi North, Kilifi South, Malindi).
Impact
As a core implementing partner, ICRHK:
- Reached over 7,500 key population members with HIV prevention and testing services.
- Identified more than 3,000 HIV-positive individuals.
- Linked those identified to care and treatment through peer education and community-based support.
