Duration: May 2023 – to date

Scope: Busia, Homabay, Marsabit, Kisumu, Bungoma, Transnzoia, Migori, and Kisumu

Objective

To evaluate the barriers and facilitators of the integrated Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH) model in the counties of Marsabit, Busia, Bungoma, and Homa Bay, Kenya.

The evaluation’s specific objectives include:

  1. To establish if the integrated model works more effectively with both the private and public sectors in improving access to ASRH services for adolescents,
  2. To identify components of the integrated ASRH model that are more effective at facilitating young women’s (ages 10-24) safe access to SRH services,
  3. To explore components that are most effective when implemented in combination and why they are effective,
  4. To identify common and effective pathways young women take through the various components of the model to access ASRH services and variations by county, age, and service.
  5. To explore adolescent girls and young women’s experiences when engaging with different components of the ASRH model and decision-making process towards a particular service,
  6. To delineate the salient differences in ASRH service-seeking patterns by the adolescents in various implementation counties
