Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management Study

Overall Objective: To explore the menstrual health and hygiene management practices and challenges among adolescent girls in Kenya

Specific objectives

  1. To explore the menstrual health and hygiene management practices and challenges among in and out of school adolescent girls in Kenya
  2. To evaluate the extent to which the MHM policy has been implemented in schools and other relevant settings
  • To identify missed opportunities in integrating menstrual health interventions as part of the implementation of the MHM policy
  1. To understand the vulnerabilities that adolescent girls face regarding menstrual health and hygiene (Loss of school time, Stigma-related vulnerabilities, Transactional relationships, Urogenital infections)

Scope: Nakuru, West Pokot, Kitui, Kwale, Garissa, Marsabit, Homabay, Bungoma
